Seat models: per user, per sender or unlimited users

Signaturely Business, Dropbox Sign Standard, Docusign Standard and BoldSign Business are priced per user, and PandaDoc Business per seat. Dropbox Sign Standard starts at 2 users, and a Dropbox Sign sender is someone who uploads, signs and sends documents.

SignWell Business includes 3 senders and adds an extra sender at $15 a month on its Monthly view; its FAQ says there is no charge based on the number of people who sign. airSlate SignNow prices per plan and lists unlimited users on every plan, so the price does not follow headcount.

Team features each vendor documents

Signaturely's help center documents team features for Business: adding team members needs a Business account, roles are Owner, Admin and User, and templates are shared by folder permission, so everyone with access to a folder gets every template in it.

Its pricing card lists custom business branding for Business, and the help center documents Independent Requests, a Business setting that shows a team member's own name and email to signers instead of the company's. Signaturely for teams covers the shared-template steps.

PandaDoc Business adds approval workflows, and its CRM integrations need usage credits or a paid add-on. BoldSign lists bulk send, SMS delivery and ID verification as add-ons.

Sending limits on team plans

Docusign Standard allows 10 envelopes per user a month on Monthly billing and 100 envelopes per user a year on its two annual types. airSlate SignNow allows 100 invites a year on each plan. Signaturely Business and Dropbox Sign Standard say unlimited requests, SignWell Business unlimited documents and BoldSign Business unlimited envelopes.

Which team should pick which plan

  • Many occasional senders: airSlate SignNow Business, $20 a month for unlimited users, with 100 invites a year.
  • Daily senders who want unlimited sending at a per-user price: BoldSign Business at $25 per user a month or Dropbox Sign Standard at $30 per user a month, both billed monthly.
  • A team that wants roles and shared template folders: Signaturely Business, $50 per user a month, billed monthly.

Signaturely's home page offers a 7-day free trial, though its pricing page and help center do not name the plan the trial runs on. Signaturely pricing has both its plans, and the best electronic signature software for small business list shows each tool's starter plan beside its team plan.
