A free plan may be enough for personal use: SignWell Free covers 3 documents a month. For a paid plan, SignWell Light is $12 a month, billed monthly, with unlimited documents. Docusign Personal is $15 a month on its Monthly subscription type for 5 envelopes, and Signaturely Personal is $25 a month, billed monthly, for 5 signature requests, as read on October 10, 2026.

The other three come from Dropbox Sign (formerly HelloSign), Xodo Sign (formerly eversign) and DocuSeal, each priced for one seat.

Start with a free plan if you send a few documents a month

SignWell Free allows 3 documents a month, Xodo Sign Free up to 5 documents a month with 1 every 7 days, and DocuSeal Basic 10 request emails a month. Signaturely's free account sends 1 document a month, and its help center says no card is needed. Dropbox Sign's free-signing page says 3 documents a month. Five a month: Signaturely Personal and Docusign Personal

Signaturely Personal is $25 a month, billed monthly, for 5 signature requests and 1 template; billed annually it is $240 a year. Docusign Personal is $15 a month on Monthly, or $10 a month on Annual, Billed upfront, and Docusign describes it as for individuals and sole proprietors with basic e-signature needs. Unlimited sending for one person: SignWell, Dropbox Sign, Xodo Sign and DocuSeal

SignWell Light is $12 a month, and Dropbox Sign Essentials, Xodo Sign Basic and DocuSeal Pro are $20 a month each, all billed monthly. For one person that is one seat at each: Xodo Sign Basic is priced per seat and DocuSeal Pro per user.

Each sends without a monthly cap: SignWell Light and Xodo Sign Basic take unlimited documents, and Dropbox Sign Essentials and DocuSeal Pro unlimited signature requests. Xodo Sign Basic is limited to 3 templates, and its free plan allows 1 document every 7 days.

Signing a document yourself with Signaturely's free Sign PDF Online tool

Signaturely's Sign PDF Online page says to upload a PDF, sign it by typing, drawing or uploading your signature, and download it. The page asks you to create a free account to unlock the signed PDF, and says the free account signs one document a month. Its separate Online Signature Generator makes a typed or drawn signature you download, and its page says Signaturely does not save it on its servers.
